5 INGREDIENT CHICK-FIL-A INSPIRED INSTANT POT SLIDERS
If you like Chick-fil-A sandwich or just like easy meals you can make in less than an hour… THIS IS FOR YOU!
It is a pretty flexible recipe and only a few simple ingredients. Have fun and jazz it up more if you want.
Ingredients:
2 - 4, Boneless and Skinless Chicken Breasts
1 Cup of Pickle Juice (same amount for 2-4 Chicken Breasts)
1 Tablespoon of Corn Starch
Lawry’s Seasoning Salt
Slider Buns of Choice (I love the Fresh Market Dinner Rolls)
OPTIONAL:
Sliced Pickles (suggested)
Sauce of Choice
Cheese of Choice
Steps for success aka “the recipe”
Pour your pickle juice and place your chicken breast into your Instant Pot.
Close the lid. Make sure your valve is not venting. Pressure Cook for 30-35 minutes.
Optional but recommended. While that is warming up/cooking slice some pickles.
4. Once it is done cooking aka the timer has stopped, carefully switch it to vent and then carefully open the lid.
5. Remove the chicken from the pot and place it on a place. Slice it/pull it and season with Lawry’s Seasoned Salt.
6. Meanwhile, turn off your Instant Pot. Turn it back on and select “saute.” Add your sliced pickles and corn starch. Let it cook down some.
7. Whenever you want, add back in your chicken and let that simmer until there is less liquid (or you get impatient and just want to eat). Stir it around and get the chicken to absorb the remaining liquid.
8. Serve it up. Serve it in slider buns or for a low carb style (without the bread). I serve mine with the pickle slices.
9. Enjoy! I eat it as is. You can add cheeses, sauces, or whatever else you want.
